So...went to court this morning and was lucky enough to have such a gracious judge drop the speed on my ticket so that the points don't go on my license. Yay! And the best part was that I was out of the courtroom within 15 minutes to get a jump start on our vacay.We left for our Disney vacation after I picked Evie and Chase up from school around 1130am. A quick trip to the house to throw the rest of our luggage in the car and we were on our way! We stopped at Chick-Fil-A in Valdosta for some lunch and to buy Chase some tennis shoes (forgot to tell him to make sure he packed those!). After we hopped back in the car we clued them in on the big surprise! They were so excited :). I will have to get Ryan to upload the video on here later.
We got to the Shades Of Green resort around 8:00pm, and my parents met us at the front. Their being there was supposed to be another surprise, but the guy at the check-in gate ruined it when he asked if my parents (our "sponsors" since it is a military resort) were already there. He didn't quite understand why I was telling him no but shaking my head yes.
We had dinner at the Italian restaurant at the hotel. Then we headed back to the room to get in a good night's sleep before we hit the parks this morning. Can't wait to share Disney with my kids!!!
